Please find below our general terms and conditions. These may vary slightly depending upon whether you are booking a childs party, charity event or corporate event. All potential bookings will be sent the appropriate terms and conditions with a booking form.

It is important the clients read these when booking.

1.

It is deemed that once a booking form is completed an event is confirmed.

 

2.

If a booking is cancelled it must be done at least 14 days prior to the event. A cancellation charge of 50% of the fee will be charged. Less than 5 days of the event full payment will be required. Any deposit paid remains non refundable.

 

3.

Travel to your event is free within a 20 mile radius of Clayton-le-Moors. Outside of this a 40p per mile fee may be charged.

 

4.

It is the responsibility of the party organiser (if a child's party) to ensure that all parents/guardians of children attending the party are informed that face painting will be part of the event.

If an event is organsied by an organisation it is the responsibility of the event organiser if deemed necessary to inform participants that a face painter will be available.

 

5.

All invoices will be issued at the end of the event and must be paid within 30 days (corporate) 14 days (parties). The client agrees to accept invoices issued either in person, by facsimile or e-mail. The client also agrees that the recording by JEM Body Art of successful transmission of electronically sent invoices shall be deemed as legal receipt.

 

6.

Cheques should be made payable to JEM Body Art and covered with a bankers card.

 

7.

Any invoice remaining unpaid after the 30 day time limit (corporate) 14 days (parties) will incur a penalty charge of £5.00 per day for every day that the invoice remains unpaid.

Please ensure that you have read and are aware of our disclaimer and health and safety sheets. These will be sent to you with other information for your convenience.

 

9.

JEM Body Art will not be held liable for any damage or injuries.

 

10.

The client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests and/or damage to artists' equipment or supplies caused by pets or guests.

 

11.

JEM Body Art will not supervise children. Their behaviour and safety is the clients and or parents responsibility. JEM Body Art cannot see other children and what they are doing while airbrushing or face painting.

 

12.

By booking an event it is deemed that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions.

 

13.

JEM Body Art has full public liability insurance and enhanced CRB check. Proof can be supplied if required.

 

14.

All equipment is PAT tested. Proof can be supplied if required.
