It is deemedthat once a booking form is completed either electronically or by hand an event is confirmed.

If a booking is cancelled it must be done at least 14 days prior to the event. A cancellation charge of 50% of the fee will be charged within 14 days. Less than 5 days of the event full payment will be required.

Travel to your event is free within a 20 mile radius of Clayton-le-Moors. Outside of this a 40p per mile fee may be charged.

It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure that if deemed necessary parents/guardians of children attending the event are informed that face painting, temporary airbrush tattoos, or balloon modelling will be part of the event.

All invoices will be issued at the end of the event and must be paid within 30 days for coprorate clients and 14 days for parties. The client agrees to accept invoices issued either in person, by facsimile or e-mail. The client also agrees that the recording by JEM Body Art of successful transmission of electronically sent invoices shall be deemed as legal receipt.

Cheques should be made payable to JEM Body Art.

Any invoice remaining unpaid after 30 days may incur a penalty charge of £5.00 per day for every day that the invoice remains unpaid.

The artiste will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event to set up the equipment and must have access to an adequate safe working area in which to setup.

Up to 10-12 faces per hour can be painted. This is the recognised industry standard (excluding any breaks).

If balloons have been provided it is the parent's responsibility to ensure the safety of their children when handling or playing with modelled balloons.

JEM Body Art artistes may take a maximum 1 hour break during a 6-hour booking (may be split into two thirty minute breaks).

The artiste will not be expected to work over time without pay to complete extra numbers. If attendance increases it may be possible to extend the booking times with advance notification. However, please note that an increase in time is at extra cost.

If the artiste is sick, or unable to attend for any other reason and no replacement can be found there will be no charge to the client.

The client must not approach sub-contracted artistes directly for future bookings within 24 months of the event date. All future booking requests must be through JEM Body Art.

A disclaimer which is available to participants on the day is available on request.

JEM Body Art will not be held liable for any damage or injuries.

JEM Body Art will not supervise children. Their behaviour and safety is the clients and or parents responsibility. JEM Body Art artists cannot see other children and what they are doing while working.

By booking an event it is deemed that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions.

Please note that JEM Body Art has full public liability insurance. Proof can be supplied if required.
